The Oslo scarf was designed by Michele Wang for Brooklyn Tweed.
It is a tubular scarf with decorative colour work at each end and a buttoned seed-stitch hem. Buttons are sewn onto the inside of the tube and inserted through the buttonholes to close the tube. The buttons can also be used to fix each end of the scarf together making it very versatile.
Oslo is 72" long and 7" wide ( double thickness). You will need 825 yards of a main shade, 85 yards of each of two contrasting shades, 50 yards of another contrast and 20 yards of another. Fingering weight yarn is used.
The pattern has 6 pages including a chart and copious instructions.
