 This is Debbie Bliss Rialto Aran in shade #30, Amethyst, which is discontinued. It is a blue shade with a slight hint of lavender.
This yarn has a lovely springy feeling to it and good definition of texture. Each 50g ball is 92 yards and it knits on US #8 needles at 18 stitches over 24 rows for a 4" square.
It is 100% extra fine merino wool and is machine washable and ideal for babies and children as well as adults
