 In this book Debbie shows you how she designs garments for babies and small children and explains how to adapt your knitting to suit different ages and create a unique garment.
The book is divided into sections such as body shaping, soft and gentle, color class, designing for premature babies, special knits and accessories. Each section has  new designs to knit that use the relevant technique along with several pages describing how to go about using the technique in your own projects.
There is a design workbook at the back of the book. This contains templates of basic shapes such as a round neck pullover, a square neck sweater, a raglan sleeve  jacket, a crossover cardigan and others. The idea is that you sketch your own ideas on these templates - Debbie has done one of each to show you the way! There are also pages of knitters graph paper with rectangles rather than the usual squares found on graph paper. There are alphabet and motif charts and even a page of gift tags for you to cut out and use.
At the very back there is a laminated page with a needle sizer, metric and imperial rules, a chart of standard yarn weights and a chart of US and metric needle sizes. This page can also be used to measure test swatches.
The book is a spiral bound hardback with an elastic bookmark on the back cover.
