 In this book Debbie shows you how she designs garments and explains how to tailor your knitting to suit you.
The book is divided into sections such as body shaping, using color, designing with texture, designing for children and designing with details. Each section has 3 new designs to knit that use the relevant technique along with several pages describing how to go about using the technique in your own projects.
There is a design workbook at the back of the book. This contains templates of basic shapes such as a simple shell, an A line jacket, a fitted jacket and others. The idea is that you sketch your own ideas on these templates - Debbie has done one of each to show you the way! There are also pages of knitters graph paper with rectangles rather than the usual squares found on graph paper.
At the very back there is a laminated page with a needle sizer, metric and imperial rules, a chart of standard yarn weights and a chart of US and metric needle sizes. This page can also be used to measure test swatches.
The book is a spiral bound hardback with an elastic bookmark on the back cover.
