Ilga Leja Arabella Shawl

 Ilga Leja's Arabella shawl is worked in an undulating leafy design.
It is knitted as two identical sections which are each worked from the bottom border towards the midpoint. The side borders are self finishing. When both sections are completed, they are grafted in the center with Kitchener stitch to form an invisible join.
There are two versions with measurements as follows:
* Scarf : 56" long by 10" wide
* Shawl : 70" long by 17" wide.
Suggested yarn is fingering or sport weight and you will need 350 yards for the scarf and 700 yards for the shawl. You will also need US #66 needles, stitch markers and blocking wires and pins.
There are 3 double sided pattern pages and a front page with a full color photo of Arabella. The whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready punched for filing.
