Ilga Leja Distant Hills Bag

 This is a new design from Ilga for Fall 2009 called the Distant Hills bag. Worked in the round from the base up, its features include an inside pocket and long, doubled handles that form part of the bag’s hilly motif. The stranded sections tend to tighten the fabric, resulting in the bag’s vessel-like shape..
The bag can be knitted in any worsted weight wool that can be felted . You will also need US #6 and US #7 circular needles..
There is a full color photo of the bag along with the pattern pages. It is housed in a polythene sleeve that is ready punched for filing.
