 Ilga has based the design of the Austria scarf on the traditional patterns for Austrian stockings. Both cables and lace are used to create a highly textured scarf.
The scarf is worked from the center outwards and has flared ends, It mwasures 50" long by 8" wide at the ends.
You will need 437 yards of a sport or DK weight yarn, US #7 needles, a cable needle, stitch markers, a tapestry needle and blocking wires.
There are three double sided pattern pages together with a full color photo of the scarf and the whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing
