 The Midnight Sun leg Warmers are ideal for using up oddments as both the background and the "suns" can be in as few or as many colours as you like.
They are knitted in the round using the Fair Isle technique and use double knitting yarn. There are two sizes:
Small/Medium with a circumference of 16" at the upper end
Large/Extra Large with a circumference of 24" at the upper end.
You will need either 420 or 570 yards for the background colour - this can be one colour or you can change colours - and 306 or 409 yarns in contrasting colours for the "suns". Each row of "suns" takes 27 or 37 yards depending on the size you are making.
The leg warmers can also be used as arm warmers or as a scarf.
There are 3 double sided pattern pages together with a full colour photo and it is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
