Mimi may either be made as a full sized shawl or a shawlette. It is worked in several sections and ends with a lacy knitted-on edging for the lower border. Ilga suggests using a hand painted yarn for the main section with the border in a solid color.
The measurements are as follows:
* Shawlette : 54" across upper border and 17.5" deep at centre
* Shawl : 63.5" across upper border and 22" deep at centre 
You will need between 300 - 460 yards of a double knitting weight yarn in the main color and the same amounnt in a contrast color. You will also need US#7 and #8 and stitch markers
There are 4 double sided pattern pages plus a front page showing the design in full color. The whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready punched for filing.
