 The Morocco scarf has a geometric pattern which is reminiscent of Eastern carpets. There are two versions in the pattern - one for a scarf and the other for a shawl.
You knit from a center diamond outwards ending in a decorative diamond motif at each end. It is essential to use a yarn with long gradual color changes such as Kauni. The scarf and shawl in the photos use Kauni.
The finished scarf measure 55" long x 9" wide and the shawl is 77" long x 13" wide. You will need a total of 1,039 yards of yarn, a US #10 needle, stitch markers, stitch holders, a tapestry needle and blocking wires. There are instructions for add tassels if required.
There are four double sided pattern pages together with a full color photo of the scarf and shawl and the whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
