Ilga was inspired by the Aurora Borealis for this design. She has used bright shades to depict the the Northern Lights dashing across the sky.
The jacket is knitted in two halves from the cuff upwards and it is grated down the center back.
Ilga suggests using a bright hand painted yarn against a dark background or use a solid color which will show the precision and delicacy of the stitch pattern and result in an understated, yet elegant version of the jacket.
