 Ilga's Straw Into Gold shawl is an elegant example of bias knitting that creates a luxurious shawl with a beautiful drape.
The shawl begins and ends with just a few stitches and, as you work, you will see the stitch pattern create a delicate fabric,
The finished shawl is 66" long and 18" wide. You will require 829 yards of a sport weight or double knitting yarn, US #6 needles, stitch markers, a tapestry needle and blocking wires.
There are seven double sided pattern pages complete with charts and a full color photo of the shawl.The whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
