 This is a design from Ilga Leja who comes from Nova Scotia. It is called Tidal Streams and is for a stole. It is knitted on the bias in a Lace Garter stitch and you can make it either as a scarf or a ful-sized stole.
Finished sizes are as follows:
* Scarf: 48" long and 8" wide
* Stoke: 64 inches long and 13" wide"
* Medium : Bust 38"

Suggested yarn is fingering or sport weight and you will need either 300 or 600 yards depending on whether you wish to make the scarf or stole.   You will also need  US #7 circular needles,  a tapestry needle and blocking wires and pins. This design is equally effective in a solid or handpainted yarn.
There are 6 double sided pages of pattern together with a front page with a colored photo of the design. The whole thing is housed in a protective sleeve and is beautifully produced.
