This is the Queen of the Waves shawl which may be made either as a shoulder shawl or a full sized shawl It is worked from the bottom edge with a central gusset which is shaped at the back of the neck so that the shawl sits easily on the shoulders. Sizes are as follows : * Shouder Shawl : 68" wide and 26.5" long at center back * Full-size Shawl : 84" wide and 33" long at center back Suggested yarn is fingering or sport weight - the photo on the far right shows the shawl knitted in Kauni yarn - and you will need 766 yards for the shoulder shawl or 920 yards for the full size one. You will also need a US #7 circular needle, stitch markers, a tapestry needle and blocking wires. There are 3 double sided pattern pages along with a full color photo of the shawl and the whole thing is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
