This is Shetland Heather, an aran weight yarn from Jamieson of Shetland. These balls are in shade #108 which is called Moorit and is an undyed shade. It is a mid brown color with slight variations along the length of the yarn
The wool is spun from sheep that are raised by the Jamieson family and it is a traditional yarn.  It knits on US #6-8 needles at  16-22 stitches over 20 -24 rows for a 4" square. 100 yards per 50g ball .
