Knit Pro Symfonie Double Pointed Birch Sock Needle Set

These are Knit Pro birch sock needles. They are  made from layers of laminated birch that give the needles a strength that is missing in regular wooden needles. The stability allowed the shaping of sharp points- particularly nice for lace knitting.  Being wood, the burnished surface has a slight grip so yarns like mohair and angora don’t slip off at the wrong time.
The needles are rainbow colored and are very attractive.
The are 6 sizes of needles with 6 needles in each size.       

The needles are housed in a useful top-closing vinyl case with clearly marked sizes for easy reference. Instead of the usual sets of 5 needles, these all have a sixth needle in each size as insurance against loss or breakage.
