Louisa Harding Kashmir DK is not plied, but has a chain construction. When knitted up it gives a slightly textured and irregular fabric as compared to a typical plied yarn. It will also wear beautifully and resist pilling. It knits as standard DK on US #6 needles at 22 stitches over 30 rows for a 4" square. It is 55% Merino Wool. 35% Microfiber and 10% Cashmere. There are 130 yards per 50g ball. This is a supersoft yarn with the cashmere content giving it a touch of luxury.
