 The Faroese Flower Shawl is knitted in one piece from the top down. It has a shaped centre back flower panel and scalloped edges which can be embellished with beads.
You will need 1094 yards of a lightweight DK or fingering wool and to use larger needles than those recommended for your yarn in order to get a light fabric. Lucy explains all about this along with lots of hints and tips.
You can either work from a chart or from row by row instructions.
There are fourteen pattern pages and a full color photo of the shawl. The pattern is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
