 The Paradoxical Mittens have a super-warm internal cuff and were inspired by a traditional African woven pattern.They have a contrast rib on the cuff and are knitted using the Fair Isle technique.
They are sized for an average adult hand but you can alter this by using larger or smaller needles.
You will need 50g of a light colored and 50g of a dark colored fine wool with approximately 176 yards per 50g. You will also need 5 short double pointed needles US size1 and 0.
There are lots of hints and tips together with a chart - 5 pattern pages in total and a full color photo of the mittens.
The pattern is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
