 The Poinsettia Shawl is deceptively easy to knit and sure to earn many compliments.
It is knitted in four large square which are joined together with a netting stitch.Instructions are given row by row, or, if you prefer working from a chart, there is one too.
Recommended yarns are a light Kid Mohair such as Kidsilk Haze for a light shawl, or a heavier mohair if you require a heavier shawl. You will need 1,300 yards of a fine yarn or 1500 yards of a heavier one.
Lucy has added lots of hints and tips and there are diagrams showing various techniques.
There are eleven pattern pages together with a full color photo of the shawl. The pattern is housed in a polythene sleeve ready for filing.
