Mirasol Sulka Knitting Yarn

This yarn is part of the Mirasol Project. A percentage of each sale is invested in the establishment and running of a boarding house to support an infant and child care program and also as a place where older children can go at the end of the school day.  This means that the Peruvian Alpaca farmers can tend their flocks knowing that their children are in a safe and supportive environment.

Sulka comes in 50g skeins with 55 yards per skein. It knits on US#10 needles at 16 stitches over 20 rows for a 4" square. It is 60% merino wool, 20% Alpaca and 20% Silk and is top quality with a gorgeous feel.
