 Perhaps bodkins are not the most exciting of things!  But they are necessary for sewing up your knitting.
These are manufactured by Prym and are sold two to a card. One has a large single eye for thick yarns and the other one has two eyes for medium and thin yarns.  They have blunt points and so will not split yarn as you sew up.
