This is shade #102, Oakham, from the Rowan Alpaca Merino DK range. It is an old gold colour.
This yarn is a blend of Baby Alpaca, Super Fine Alpaca and Extra Fine Merino Wool which results in a super soft extra lightweight yarn.
It knits to a DK tension on 4.5mm needles and the yardage is exceptionally good for this weight of yarn.
It is very warm and yet feels weightless - it is like a lighter version of Lima.
