 This pattern dates from 1992. It is a jacket and was originally knitted in Rowan Magpie Aran or Chunky Chenille.  These are long discontinued but you can easily find a substitute.
This jacket has an all-over chevron pattern with a shawl collar and tie belt. In my photos the grey/green version is knitted in Magpie and the red version is knitted in chenille..
Sizes are:
* Bust : 46" Length : 26"
* Bust : 48 "Length : 27"
* Bust : 50" Length : 28"
You will need US #7 and 9 needles and if you are going to use chenille you will also need  US#5 needles for the sleeves
