 This sweater is knitted in Rowan's Grainy Silk or Silkstones - the two yarns were interchangeable.  They have been discontinued for a long time but you can use a substitute - US #2 and #3 needles are used.
The sweater has an allover lace pattern with a fairly wide crew neck and a deep welt. It is one size with a width around of 40" and a length of 22".
