This pattern was issued by Rowan to promote their Grainy Silk / Silkstones yarns. Both yarns have been discontinued for well over ten years  - the pattern is knitted on US #2 and #3 needles and so a substitute will not be hard to find.
The sweater has a deep V neck and has a cable down the center front and down the sleeves. It is loose fitting and comes in one size with a width around of 45.5" and a length of 25.5".
