The Rowan/Brother Designer Knitting Machine Book was a collaboration between Rowan and Brother Knitting Machines.
There are 25 designs that have wither been created especially for the book or are adaptations from the designers ready-to wear range. Designers include Sarah Dallas, Erika Knight, Jamie and Jessie Seaton, Jane Davies and Maggie White.
There are brightly coloured fair isles, patterned cotton sweaters, tunics, coats and jackets.
The patterns are given in clear, easy to follow instructions with row by row mating setting details and colour guide for the fair isle and stitch pattern sequences. All the garments have been made using a standard gauge punchcard machine with a ribbing attachment but many of them could also be made using just a single bed machine and working an alternative mock ribbing.
This copy comes complete with dust jacket. It does have an inscription on the fly leaf and one page has some pencil notes on it but, apart from that, it is in perfect condition.
