 Rowan used to sell their Lightweight DK in skeins and also on cones for machine knitters. These skeins were taken from a cone and so do not have Rowan labels. I assure you that they are the genuine article and all from the same cone.
The shade is #152 which is a dull yellow with a slightly acidic tone. Each skein is 25g and 70 yards in length. It knits on US #5 -6 needles at 23-25 stitches over 30-33 rows for a 4" square. It is 100% pure wool.
