Delivery & shipping

Shipping is calculated by weight and destination. The more a parcel weighs, the more it costs to send.  Please remember that if you buy 500g of yarn, the actual weight of the parcel will exceed this. If you are buying a large amount of yarn , say + 3kg, it may well be cheaper for me to ship by DHL or UPS. Please email me for pricing.  

When you view your basket, you will be able to select a shipping method. I ship by Royal Mail. Within the UK you have the option of selecting First Class or Special Delivery.  Special Delivery guarantees next day delivery and needs a signature.

Outside the UK I send by Royal Mail Air Mail and you will have the option of selecting regular Air Mail or International Signed For. The latter is trackable on-line and needs a signature. Due to problems with the Russian postal service, I only ship via International Signed For to Russian addresses.

Providing your order is received by 3.0pm UK time, I can ship the same day. Orders placed after 3.0pm will ship on the following day. 

Delivery times are usually next day within the UK, 4 -5 days to Western Europe, 6 - 7 days for Eastern Europe and 7 - 10 days for the rest of the world.  There are occasional delays caused by extra security or customs checks but these are few and far between.
