Jaeger knitting yarn is now discontinued. For many years, Rowan Yarns sold a range under the Jaeger label but Jaeger decided not to renew the lease and so production has ceased. Jaeger yarns were a staple in the 1940s and 50s when the choice of knitting yarns was much narrower than today. There is a range of pattern books which feature timeless classic "English" styles.
