 This cape was designed By Jane Slicer Smith and is knitted in Trendsetter Merino Otto yarn but you can use any Aran weight yarn.
It is made in one big square that is made of 36 mitered squares.. Each square is worked in two colors.You commence with one square and build up sections that are partially picked up and partially cast on.
Once the center square is finished, the front wraps are worked in different box stitch patterns, There is no sewing up involved.
You will need 5 balls in each of two colors, 2 balls in each of three more colors and  1 ball of five additional colors .Needles used are US #6.
The pattern has a colored photo of the design and full charts for the miter squares and is housed in a polythene sleeve
